New Tablature for Piano for Upcoming Commission Premiere

 

Work for Piano

I’ve just finished a new experimental tablature for solo piano.

• Layout: Treble system on top, Bass system on bottom

• Logic: vector-based “Brutalist Tablature” pathways with cue glyphs, saturation blocks, and directional lattices for attack, decay, and pedal bias

• Palette: black/white linework with signal accents (yellow/black) for tension and release

This score invites the pianist to navigate structure like architecture: read the corridors, hinge on the joints, color the voids.
